Quite frankly…….YES!
So here we are in the middle of flu season and encouraged to increase our fluid/water intake, but the sad news is the water in our country is making us more dehydrated and therefore thirstier. For a country that is promoted as clean green, it is definitely not living up to its name when the basics of life with water actually do not contain it!
Even our natural springs that we pay more money for, do not contain enough life minerals like magnesium to hydrate our bodies. There is too much calcium and sodium in most of NZ water, which will compete with magnesium so therefore will not hydrate us.
Then of course due to intensive farming techniques too many chemicals will also hurt our water supply. Then we all know about the bugs that are becoming such a problem to some of our cities that the Governments solution is more chemicals like chlorine and not even going to mention the “F” word that is used now for tooth decay!!! So the water tastes fowl…it’s any wonder people prefer the fizz 😢.
If we had good quality water it should contain magnesium as the HEAD, as this important mineral acts as the catalyst for absorption of other minerals, which then includes calcium.
There are only a few countries round the world that I am aware of that have natural springs that are magnesium rich, one is in Czech Republic and the other is called Noah’s water in the USA. We seem to have a flood of dirty water! Until now…..just tonight I happened to google to see if anyone maybe importing the good juice to NZ and to my surprise there is a supplier doing the right thing.
Magnesium Water NZ
Most people are low in magnesium and we should be sourcing it from good quality food or water to be absorbed correctly. Pills do not cut the mustard. Maybe our sporting stars should be promoting this natural water rather than the bright blue Powerade which is not natural, and believe me the real deal will work far better if you want to re-hydrate. I’m looking forward to getting my first supply of Magnesia…..WHOOHOO.
Hopefully soon enough New Zealand will wake up and start smelling the roses, to do so, we need to look after our soil. Maybe by adding serpentine rock mineral, seaweed, growing hemp, our land and water will recover, so then we could be the HEAD and not the dirty tail end of this crazy war.
