What do you call chemicals?
Dear Rachel, Can you tell me what you call chemicals? Are these the preservatives, colourings and numbers I see on the back of printed packages? Greg C.
Chemicals can be numbers, colourings, etc. However chemicals that I like to teach about the most are excitotoxins, MSG can be hidden versions called yeast extract (eg. is in marmite, vegemite), then hydrolysed gelatin (eg. is in fish capsules). then there is milk solids, which is present in most processed dairy and low fat products. The list is rather huge, but there is 10 to look out for that you can download (business card size) for free from my home page betterbods.co.nz . Basically we need to trust mother nature, rather than the science version. The trouble is most of our foods have now become chemical versions, if you don`t know what to look out for. We have "normalised" these horrible GOO products, that are definately causing many health issues!! We need to put PEOPLE before PROFIT, then we would not be in this horrible mess! Cheers Rachel
