hi,i have recently lost about 14kg and are working on toning up but have found my skin has become quite lose and crinkly will this firm up again with resistence exercise ?
Hi Sue. Often when people diet, they do so, without the important component of resistance exercise. It can be common to be left with "saggy" skin, due to losing muscle especially from dieting. We need muscle to give us shape and tone. So yes, resistance exercise will help, but you have to be patient and consistent to achieve results. Just 1 to 3 times per week for the LONG TERM is the way to go. Start off slowly and build up. All the best, cheers Rachel.
