CRUNCH SNACK MIX

ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsps raw honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 1/2 C puffed rice (pref organic)
  • 1/3 C raisins or chopped dried fruit (pref organic)
  • 1/3 C raw nuts and coconut

method

Melt butter, add honey and cinammon; stir.
In a large bowl, mix the cereal, raisins and nuts. Pour wet mix over this mix and toss until all is coated.
Pour onto baking sheet and bake at 120 degrees C for about 15 mins. Remove and stir. Let sit for 10 mins and pour into bowl to serve. Leftovers can be stored in a zipper lock bag for those school lunches.
