PECAN BISCUITS (TREAT)   The Finished Product
125gms butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup self raising flour
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chopped pecan nuts or walnuts can be used
1 t cinnamon
4 weet-bix crushed
Cream butter and sugar, add egg and beat well. Add flour sifted with cinnamon and mixed spice, then add dates, pecans and weet-bix.
Roll into balls and place onto greased trays, flatten biscuits with a fork or the palm of your hand and place a pecan nut on top. Bake at 180 degrees celcius for 12-15 mins.
