ROAST CHICKEN DINNER   The Finished Product
1 chicken (preferably organic), leave skin on.
your own choice of veges i have used potatoes, kumera and pumpkin, but you can add carrots parsnip, onions, swede or courgettes.
frozen peas and corn.
Simply place chicken onto roast either in the oven with a little water in the dish or place in the crock pot, then add potatoes first as they will take longer than all the other vegetables to cook.
If using courgettes add towards the end of cooking.
A standard size chicken will take about 1 and a half hours to roast in the oven and all day on low in the crock pot.
Cook peas and corn before serving.
If you are wanting gravy it is the same as in the first set of recipes with the steak dish.
